What is 6W1H, and why is it so crucial for our communication?

When we communicate, we use the filters in our own map of the world. We compare, delete, distort, generalize the information we received from the outside world according to our needs, beliefs, and experiences. Then we create assumptions which only reflects our side of the story. Not the side where it came from.

Plus, most of the times, our selection of words is not specific enough in order to clearly understand each other.

This is the reason why we experience major communication problems costing us relationships, success, money and even our health.

But, we can stop this vicious cycle and prevent all these problems by busting our assumptions. 

And there are some very powerful techniques to help us achieve that. 6W1H is one of these techniques. It is so simple, yet so incredibly effective to become aware of our limitations in language.

6W1H is basically a toolkit inside my Neuro-Shine Technology™ Assumption Busting technique that comes with 7 simple keywords that help us design powerful questions so that we can bust our assumptions and help others achieve the way. It is also important to ask questions that are formulated by 6W1H when we are listening to other people so that we can understand their points more clearly, without getting stuck in our own assumptions.
